“Raffles Families Connecting Through Fun & Games”
The light drizzle on the morning of Saturday 28 May did not stop the many who had turned up for the RPA Family Connect 2011. The annual event organized by the Raffles Parents Association, is into its second year. Once again grandparents, parents, siblings and relatives of our Raffles students came to form family teams in a friendly but spirited competition and more importantly building bonds of friendship.
As promised, it was a fun-filled day for all family members, young and old alike, and the families from Year 1-6 were represented. All who came were given welcome gifts and early birds had additional gifts too. There were family-fun telematch games and everyone walked away with great prizes too. And to top it all there was a lovely buffet spread too… including the ice-cream bar.
On hand to make sure that everything was well organized were the RPA MC members and also parent volunteers who displayed wonderful spirit and camaraderie.
A BIG salute to everyone who has contributed to make Family Connect 2011 a day of fun and joy and also a BIG thank you to the families who had taken their time on a Sat morning to support the event.
