The ORA Family Fest was held on 17 Apr 2010 on the campus grounds of Raffles Girls Secondary School. Resources from RGS and RI were pooled to raise contributions for the 1823 Fund, Singapore Cancer Society, RGS School Development Programme, as well as the Raffles Schools’ financial assistance schemes.The Fest kicked-off with a Walk-a-Jogathon at 7.30am. Sixty exciting food and game stalls were put up by parents, students, staff and groups such as the RGS Chapter, ORA, PRGS and RPA. RPA’s stall sold sushi and katsudon, Nespresso coffee, cold drinks, home-made cookies and rice cakes.
RPA thanks all parent volunteers who turned up to help at the stall. It was hard work, but there was no lack of fun and goodwill at the event, which ended at around 2 pm. RPA would also like to thank those parents who gave generous donation for this good course.
